About Soundbaths

A soundbath is one of the most effortless forms of deep relaxation there is, there's nothing to do but lie back and listen.

Despite the name, there's no water involved. Instead, you're gently "bathed" in waves of sound and soft vibration, created with instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs and chimes. You lie down somewhere warm and comfortable, close your eyes, and simply let the sound wash over you. No experience needed, and nothing to get right.

As the tones rise and fall, the whole body is invited to slow right down — that natural settling we so rarely give ourselves time for. Many people describe drifting into a dreamlike state somewhere between waking and sleep. Others feel tension they'd been quietly holding begin to ease. Most leave feeling calmer, lighter, and beautifully still.

Sound and Reiki share a natural affinity - both gently encourage the body's energy to settle and flow. Experienced together, they can carry you into an even deeper sense of rest.

Whether you come for an hour of quiet or simply a chance to switch off, a soundbath is a rare invitation: to do nothing at all, and let the sound do the rest...
